SEND

Welcome to the SEND information for our school

At Hillborough Infant and Nursery School we provide a fully inclusive, rich and creative curriculum which is driven by our aim to promote our children’s well-being, enhance their sense of community, increase their participation and appreciation of the arts and excite our pupils about the possibilities for their future. We believe in achievement, ambition and progress for all children. We aim to meet the needs of individual children through highly effective teaching and learning and there is an emphasis on early identification of needs and reducing barriers to learning.

Staff work in a flexible way to develop effective partnerships with children and their parents/guardians, the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCO), and relevant outside agencies.

Are you concerned that your child has sensory difficulties?

Some children experience difficulties with touch, smell, taste or sound.  Others may have difficulty in processing visual information.

Luton SEND is offering a service with support from NHS Occupational Therapy teams.
